OXOKLIN – High Level Disinfectant, 1 liter

OXOKLIN is a concentrated liquid disinfectant designed for high-level disinfection of hard surfaces, medical instruments, and textiles. It demonstrates rapid action at low temperatures and employs a cell oxidation mechanism for effective microbial control.

Applications:

How to use:

• Surface disinfection: Dilute the product to a 3–5% (v/v) ready-to-use solution, depending on desired efficacy. For a 3% solution, mix 30 ml of concentrated disinfectant with 970 ml of drinking or distilled water to produce 1 liter of solution. Apply directly to surfaces or using a clean synthetic swab. No rinsing required.
• Instrument disinfection: Immerse medical instruments in a 5% (v/v) solution for 15 minutes in a lidded tank. Rinse with sterile water afterward.
• Textile disinfection: Immerse textiles in a 5% (v/v) solution for 15 minutes. For chemothermal disinfection, use automatic washing machines with a 1.2% (v/v) Oxoklin solution and 0.6% (v/v) Klino alkaline detergent. Set the machine for 60°C, ensuring a 1:4 ratio of textiles to solution, with a 20-minute wash cycle.

Material compatibility:

• Compatible with stainless steel, PVC, polypropylene, polyethylene, silicone, glass, and rubber.
• Does not corrode aluminum, stainless steel, tinned steel, Teflon, PE, PP, or PS plastics.
• Corrodes iron.
• Not recommended for use on copper or visibly damaged chrome and nickel instruments.
